Q: Why does your rental prices change?
 
A: Good question.  Price change is based on Season (higher demand in late Fall, Winter and the months, March - May), Special Events & the actual time of booking a reservation.  For example, when you book your reservation earlier than 90 days, we are able to schedule the month easier, passing on a lower rate to our guests. 
 
We do our very best to keep prices reasonable.  Our pricing includes (up to $500.00) utilities, cable, Internet/WiFi, pool & landscaping services, property management fees, and professional cleaning.  The longer you stay, the more we can work with you regarding our rental rate.
 

Q: Do you allow pets?
 
A: We are pet lovers and will consider pets on a one-to-one basis.  We take into consideration the type of pet, size of pet, are guest(s) home with their pet(s) a lot of the time or will the pets be alone often.  There is a additional pet fee and cleaning deposit.
 
Pet owners are solely responsibility for the care of their pets.  Pet "do-do" must be picked up on a daily basis.  No pet is allowed off of the property unless it is leashed at all times.  You will find doggie do-do baggies and dump units throughout Desert Harbor. 
 
Our home is located in a very quiet neighborhood and we respect our neighbors ...  so we do our best to make sure pets are managed well.

Q: Are your prices negotiable?
 
A: Yes.  Due to special circumstances such as a cancellation, we may consider reduced pricing.  Also, if you book more than one stay a year, we will reduce your rent by 10%.  Rental rate negotiation is also based on the terms of the rental agreement.

Q: Are you willing to lease your home for longer than 6 months.
 
A: Yes.  We are interested in renting our home on both long and short term basis (must rent at least 30 days).  We will rent our home up to TWO YEARS with an option to buy!

Q: Do you provide any food?
 
A: Yes.  I love to cook and have a fully stocked seasoning cabinet, e.g.; garlic salt, chili powder, cajun, french fry, lemon pepper, olive oil, balslmaic oil, etc.  We  have a "welcome" stock of coffee, cocoa and tea and a few other goodies.  Feel free to use what ever is in the house.  Also, feel free to leave goodies as well!  We have laundry detergent, soap, etc. for your convenience.  We do however expect you to clean out all parishables before you leave.

Q: What makes your home so special?
 
A: We care about our tenants.  We want you to feel completely at home.  We've gone out of our way to make your stay as complete and comfortable as possible.  We spend extra time cleaning our property; sanitizing our beds and bathrooms and keeping the property is "excellent" condition. 
 
Did I mention LOCATION.  We are located on a private lake.  Enjoy our little red canoe!  Our canoe has a small electric motor, or if you feel like a good workout-paddle your way around the lake!  You are also welcome to ride our mountain bikes.
 
There are only a small percentage of homes in the Phoenix area that is actually located on the LAKE.  Our home is surrounding by other beautiful homes.  There are not a lot of rentals, short sales or foreclosures in this area.  You know why?  Because it is a "well maintained", desirable area. 
 
Honestly, our home is like having your own private resort.  Come and enjoy...life is good here!  Whether you stay a month or a year, you will fall in love with our home.
