Our vacation home is located in the community of Desert Habor in Peoria, AZ. Desert Harbor is an exclusive lake community. The private lake can only be used by members only. As a guest, you are allowed access to this lake. Fishing (catch & release) is allowed without a fishing license. Word is... there are some "big ones - Bass & Catfish" in the lake! Could be a fish tale...."we don't fish, we don't know!"
We have a little red motorized canoe available to our guests (who can swim and assume full liablity for their own welfare).
Our home is located only minutes from fwy 101, five minutes from Peoria Sports Complex, Arrowhead Mall, great restaurants, a movie theatre, gas stations and Alberstons (grocery store). We are located about 20 minutes from Westgate Project (hockey & AZ Cardinals), NASCAR and Surprise, Az.
The SkyHarbor Airport and Scottsdale are both about 30 minutes away.
Several coffee shops, Lowes, fitness centers, massage therapist, beauty parlors and medical facilities are also close by.
Several golf courses (private and public) are also near by. The Rio Vista Community Recreational Center is in walking distance from our home. There are many walking trails as well.
